This monsoon season, Rajasthan’s AFL scene is about to heat up as the much-awaited afl Monsoon Cup 2025 storms into Jaipur on 13th July 2025. Hosted at the iconic Khora / NBC Ground, this full-day tournament brings together the best of Australian Rules Football talent from across the state for an action-packed AFL showdown.

Organized by the Footy Association of Rajasthan, the afl Monsoon Cup 2025 showcases a 9-a-side format played in league style, followed by a high-stakes Grand Final. With elite participation from Triceratops, Eagle, Giants, and Bombers, fans can expect non-stop footy action, rain or shine!
Match Format and Timings
The tournament kicks off at 1:00 PM and follows a short-format Australian Football structure for high intensity and rapid results:
- Each league match consists of 2 quarters of 10 minutes, with a 2-minute break between quarters.
- The Grand Final will feature 4 quarters of 10 minutes, also with 2-minute breaks between each.
This format ensures exciting play while maintaining tempo and energy throughout the day.
Meet the Contenders – Regional Powerhouses
🟣 Triceratops (Pink City Triceratops – Jaipur Urban)
Representing Jaipur Urban, Triceratops bring flair, fitness, and fierce Australian Football technique to the field. They’re known for clinical execution, tough marking, and consistent finishes — a top-seeded team with high expectations.
🦅 Eagle (Jaipur Eagles – Jaipur Rural)
With a strong Australian Football player base from the rural belts of Jaipur, the Eagles are swift, disciplined, and deadly on the counter. Their deep roots in local footy culture make them one of the most passionate teams in the league.
💣 Bombers (Mixed District Team – Jhunjhunu & Others)
The Bombers are a dynamic mix of players from Jhunjhunu and other districts. Their unpredictable gameplay, bold moves, and aggressive Australian Football tackles make them one of the most exciting teams to watch.
🟠 Giants (Bhilwara Giants)
Representing Bhilwara, the Giants are strong, composed, and powerful. As AFL continues to expand into new districts, the Giants symbolize the sport’s growth and the hunger for excellence beyond central Rajasthan.
