The Australian Football State Championship 2023 held at Khandelwal College on December 18th witnessed an exhilarating display of skill, determination, and sportsmanship as 120 players from various districts and divisions came together to compete for glory. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of our chief guest, Miss Mell Helen, all the way from Australia.

Three Categories, One Passion in Australian Football
The championship featured three categories for boys’ teams: Under 14, Under 16, and Seniors, each showcasing the immense talent and enthusiasm for Australian Football. The competition not only celebrated the spirit of the sport but also recognized outstanding performances across the age groups.

Outstanding Achievements in U/14 Category in Australian Football
In the U/14 category, young talents shone brightly. Satayam secured the title for the Best Goal, Khushal soared high to claim Best Mark, Panchu was crowned Best Player, and Rohit showcased unmatched skills to earn the title of Best Defender.
U/16 Excellence Unveiled in Australian Football
Moving on to the U/16 category, Shivam’s spectacular goal earned him the Best Goal title, Siddhart’s remarkable mark secured Best Mark, Sushil’s exceptional overall performance led to him being named Best Player, and Prince showcased outstanding defensive skills to be crowned Best Defender.

Seniors Showcase Remarkable Skills
In the senior category, Wasiullah Khalid’s striking goal earned him the title of Best Goal, Hoshiyaar Singh’s incredible mark secured Best Mark, Sunny Kumar’s all-around excellence made him Best Player, and Narvendra Singh’s defensive prowess earned him the title of Best Defender.
Grand Final Glory
The Grand Finals were a culmination of the championship’s intensity. In the U/14 category, Jaipur City faced Jaipur Rural, with Jaipur City emerging victorious. The U/16 Grand Final saw a face-off between Jaipur City and Jaipur Rural, with Jaipur City claiming the crown. The Senior Grand Final witnessed a battle between two formidable teams, Jaipur City and Jaipur City, with the latter emerging triumphant.
Districts and Divisions in Action
Participating districts and divisions, including Jaipur City, Jaipur Rural, Pali, Jhunjhunu, and Bundi, showcased the rich diversity of talent in U/14, U/16, and Senior categories. The sheer competitiveness and spirit of the players exemplified the growing popularity of Australian Football in Rajasthan.
